About Me

Stellen (Arts) is the pseudonym of a 26-year-old artist from outside Chicago, IL. I use he/they pronouns and am queer.

 I work with the Procreate app for iPad and a 2nd gen Apple pencil. I have also used various Wacom tablets and Adobe Suite. 

The Studio Pen brush in Procreate is my best friend.

For pixel art, I use a custom brush from this tutorial.

 I had no hope but to fall in love with digital art as a medium. The undo button, the color wheel, the immediacy. When at age 10 I watched as my plastic pen tip dragged across a blank board and my mark appeared on the computer monitor, it was long over for me. I was enamored.
